Two great stays and already looking at the calendar for 2023! We were fortunate to be the first to rent this home in May after the renovation - they were still putting finishing touches on it as we checked in! The location is perfect as is the newly rebuilt private boardwalk to the beach right across the street. Inside the owners have done an excellent job upgrading all the rooms and making it feel like a second home and not a rented beach house. Excellent ceiling fans in all the rooms and on the porches make the a/c unnecessary most days. Outside the pool and deck areas are very inviting as are the front and back porches. We were shocked to see all the beach and pool accessories that were made available - chairs, boogey boards, wagon, bikes and even a Shibumi! Since the house is dog friendly, it would be nice if there was a gate on the front porch to keep pets from running out and down the front steps and near the busy road. And if the owner is looking for how to add to the property I’d say a pool heater or even a solar blanket to help extend the use of the pool into fall and spring. And maybe think about a hot tub and outdoor TV for the back yard?

This was our 28th year coming to Holden. We love this house and the love this house and location. Only thing we could think of for improvement would be a pool heater. Thank you Soo much for making sure this house is in tip top shape. It's very much appreciated.

This was my favorite house I’ve ever stayed in at Holden! Everything was thought out perfectly! The house was decorated nicely! I loved the screened in back porch. I loved that they put the baby gate up on the front porch and the pool alarm on the back deck was a plus that helped calm my nerves with having a small child. I always forget laundry detergent and dish soap and it was nice that they had it in the thoughtful gift bag! The house was clean and we didn’t have a single issue during our stay! The location and access to the beach was a big plus! Also, the house is within walking distance to coffee/candy shop, restaurants , and the park The house next door was undergoing construction and there was drywall and insulation everywhere which was kinda an eye sore and I know something that cannot be helped. We just closed the blinds on that side of the house and ignored it. Honestly I was so happy with the house I didn’t even care!

This is a wonderful property. Very well stocked. Very clean and bright. The beds were very comfortable. It is close to beach access and the view of the ocean from front porch is beautiful. We will defiantly come back to this property again. And the topping was being greated with a wonderful tote back stocked with start essentials and fun goodies, like visors koozies,and frisbees

We rented this house for 3 weeks over the winter holidays and loved every minute of it. It was perfect for 3 couples and an all-adult family. The kitchen has everything you need (we cook a lot and rarely eat out), the living room is very cozy with more than enough seating for 6 people, and the beds are super comfortable with great mattresses! I don't think I've ever slept in so well a bed in a rental house. We also had a good experience with the staff at Coastal Vacation Resorts and their response time when we needed something or there was a minor maintenance issue -- way better than their competitors (we've rented from a lot of the companies at Holden). The hosts included a lovely welcome package, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again! Hope to return in a warmer month when we can enjoy the pool and patio.

We have rented several homes from coastal and this one is our absolute favorite house. This house was super clean. It was perfect for our family. Even with tropical storm Debby we stayed the entire week and still had the best time. The extra beach/pool items were a hit with our kiddos. I also really appreciated the gate on the front porch.
